Dave came to me with a problem. His website was completely built using Flash and was not getting found on search engines or showing up on mobile. First off, we needed to do a full overhaul of his site because the big search engines like Google, Yahoo, and Bing can’t crawl a Flash website. Also, nearly all mobile devices do not support Flash.
His main request was to fix the aforementioned and to add some new photos of his custom koa wood art. He didn’t care overmuch about the design other than it be mobile friendly, so I gave him:
- A brand new site layout using his existing Wix Premium account
- Added easy contact forms for people to inquire about his art
- Updated his gallery of artwork and organized it into easier to navigate sub-galleries
- Did a complete SEO workup including Page SEO, Google Analytics, Google Webmaster Tools, and a Google Business Page.
All in all, he was very happy with the results.
